Palace Hotel
This hotel is situated in the centre of Prague a few minutes walk from Wenceslas Square and the business, shopping and entertainment areas. The nearest metro, Mustek or Muzeum and the nearest train station, Hlavni Nadrazi (Prague's main station) are five minutes from the hotel by foot.

Palace Hotel
The Palace Hotel is housed in an early 20th-century Viennese Art Nouveau building, which dates from 1909 with period features. The lobby features buttery wood panelling and furniture with subtly flowered upholstery, which combine to create an atmosphere that is exclusive, but also warm and welcoming. Shared over 8 floors, the124 guestrooms are in immaculate condition. Each room is architecturally different from the next and all are elegantly appointed with stylish decor in pastel colours, brocaded bedspreads and Italian marble bathrooms. The hotel’s "Gourmet Club Restaurant" is, as its name suggests, the main gourmet restaurant. With its capacity of 60 seats and situation right opposite the main entrance, it offers wide selection of local and international cuisine as well as unique selection of wines from all around the world. The hotel also offers a rich Continental buffet every morning in the bright, welcoming "Restaurant L´Epoque", which is located on the first floor. There is also an impressive art nouveau bar area.

Ideal situation just off Wenceslas Square.
One disappointing comment - room not ready when we arrived that night at 9pm approx. however shown to another immediately. Breakfast great - plenty to choose from Hot and Cold.
Top Tip
Jazz Club Bar down steps at end of Charles Bridge.
El Gaucho restaurant very good.
Drinking/Eating in OLD TOWN Sqaure quite expensive.

Fab hotel and facilities but bar prices extraordinarily high - £20 for one g&t, one red wine, one whisky & a coffee.
Top Tip
Sphinx restaurant - just around the corner from the hotel - excellent food and value for money.
Tourist "train" from the Old Square is the best way to the Castle.
Negotiate taxi fare from the airport - we paid 500 Crowns each way - Hotel wanted 900!

We thoroughtly enjoyed our stay at the Palace hotel. It really was 5 star, the staff were excellent, most helpful in every way.
Top Tip
The Steak House El Gaucho in the main street was excellent, full and with a super ambience. The sightseeing was a delight, the buildings are second to none.
