The 5-star Aria Hotel is housed in a beautifully renovated Italian Palazzo-style building in the heart of Prague. The musical theme is apparent as soon as you step into the medium sized lobby, where the Italian marble floor depicts the score of an ancient Gregorian chant. The lobby leads on to the bar area, the Winter Garden and the Music Library. The four floors of guestrooms are each dedicated to a different musical genre: Jazz, Opera, Classical or Contemporary Music. Each of the 52 rooms and suites celebrates an individual artist or composer, from Dvorak to Elvis, Mozart to Billie Holiday. Each room offers original artwork and a selection of books, while flat screen computers with high speed Internet access provide biographies of each room's honoured artist as well as a collection of their music. With its waterfall and grand piano, the Winter Garden evokes the atmosphere of a palace garden, while contemporary international cuisine and a comprehensive selection of fine wines are offered in the intimate surroundings of the Coda dining room. In summer months the Coda Roof Terrace restaurant and bar serves up a world-class selection of food and drink and the most spectacular panorama over Prague's rooftops available in the city.
